The birthday doldrums continue over a period of several days. I can see getting wishes on Thursday, which I reluctantly accept. But getting happy birthday wishes on Friday and Saturday became as exciting as a sinus attack. Unless a person is sick, no one gets a short cut (Family and friends included).
I only counted the ones who made wishes on the actual birthday, bringing me to seven percent. About 225 wishes when I have 2,950 friends or followers does not work for me. I expect at least 300 birthday wishes.
Coupled with the two job rejections and unhappiness at the office, it won't be one of my memorable birthdays. I am praying better days are ahead for me.
The question some may ask: am I suicidal? Of course not. I can certainly confront them over this, but I won't. I just won't fool with them as I prepare for an exit. I know that the world doesn't revolves JK Jones, but I expect respect.
